If you love ice cream, mini golf and dogs, this position could be your perfect summer job! Wicky Ralph's Ice Cream and Mini Golf located on the campus of the Grammy Rose Dog Rescue & Sanctuary in Acton Maine is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to supervise our ice cream and mini golf team for the 2024 season (late April to mid-September).
We serve classic favorites such as hand-dipped and soft-serve ice cream, shakes, floats and cold drinks, and we have an 18-hole dog-themed mini golf course.
Proceeds directly support the rescue's mission to save dogs from euthanasia and match them with forever families in New England.
Duties Supervise ice cream and mini golf service team Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings Operate ice cream machines and equipment Ensure quality control by monitoring the consistency and taste of the ice cream Maintain cleanliness and organization in the ice cream production area Ensure excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns Handle cash transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system (Square) Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safety of our products Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed Requirements:
Outstanding customer service attitude and team-oriented approach to work Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Strong organizational skills Ability to use computers and tablets effectively Basic money handling skills Food safety certification preferred Ability work various shifts including weekends and holidays Must be dog friendly Physical strength, stamina and agility to work in a food service and retail setting working with equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis If you are enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service, have a passion for ice cream and mini golf, and possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you.
