Position
Summary:
The Manager of Sales Development is responsible for all top-line funnel generating activities and business development for assigned geographic region(s) or business unit(s).
They support the Business Development Representatives (BDR) team, and are responsible for interviewing, hiring, coaching, and developing each BDR; other key responsibilities include forecasting and facilitating our go-to-market strategy.
This position is based in Brisbane, QLD.
Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):
Manage team of Business Development Representatives Develop team through feedback, coaching, shadowing, weekly training sessions, and performance management Plan and execute regular meetings with the team to discuss goals, highlights, and trainings (weekly kick offs, cold call roleplay, ongoing training, etc.
) Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting Manage and maintain KPIs Build and maintain team culture and cohesion Support BDR team initiatives Maintain partner lead gen requests and ensure data integrity for accurate quota attainment Create strategic content to align with industry trends and marketing initiatives Work cross-functionally between departments through weekly/bi-weekly meetings (e.

, Marketing, Tools and Technology, Training, etc.
) and execute on deliverables Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
Proven managerial or leadership experience - ideally in Business / Sales Development Excellent understanding of Sales strategies and techniques Ability to build team cohesion and collaboration Excellent coaching skills with ability to observe, evaluate, and provide meaningful feedback Strong analytical skills and attention to details to make data driven decisions An accountable team player, with the ability to consistently achieve topline funnel targets An effective and direct communicator; verbally and written Self-motivated, results driven, and able to maintain composure and stability in the face of adversity Thrives in an energetic, competitive atmosphere Why join Pax8?Well here are a few points of how we value our greatest assets:
